Last night at dinner, Zeke shocked us all when he broke out with, "Sometimes I just feel like a slave around here!" Trying to control our laughter and keep our composure we asked why, to which he replied, "You always make me do work and I don't get paid for it!"
I don't know why it was so funny, but through my tears of laughter I tried to explain to him how we are a family and we work and live together and we share the money daddy makes...I don't think it took though...

I'm on Zeke's side! Sort of...Have you finished the book yet? Dave has a good plan...some chores you do because (like you said) you are part of a family and you just DO it to contribute toward the family unit! But some chores you pay the kid a commission for doing. Not an allowance, but commission, so that they are learning No Work = No money.

I know--if I had to do it all over again nursing would be the way to go! I looked into it a little bit, but the programs I found were full time. What did you find?
Oh good. I'll check that one at work on monday since that is where i have the link. and it'll give me something to do.
